Mother: Charlotte Jones: Got pregnant when she was about sixteen, she hadn't ever wanted any kids, but she still wholeheartedly tried to take care of Susan. Right before Susan was sent to her uncle's, Charlotte had lost her job at the restaurant and her hours were cut back at the salon.
Father: Vern Brown: He was seventeen when Charlotte had gotten pregnant and they had gotten married. Unfortunately after a few years he couldn't handle the responsibility of having a family, so got a divorced and moved away. Susan was only around two years old at the time, so she never really missed having him in her life. He was also addicted to cocaine and was an alcoholic; he never tried to quit.
Uncle: Charlie Jones: He was a hardworking thirty-three year old when Susan came to live with him. Charlie was a brick-layer and traveled out of Tulsa quite often. He was always considerate of others and always made sure Susan would turn out as a respectable person. He had a very good sense of humor, but sometimes his childish antics would cause Susan to question his ability to be mature.
Despite his sometimes over the top attitude, he was the only person in Susan's life that ever took the role of being her father and she always respected him and they never really fought.

She appears a year or two younger than she actually is- sometimes this bugs her, but Susan doesn't correct anybody if they guess her age wrong. She's afraid that would make them angry.
Personality: She is not easy going at all and doesn't really hang around with people if she has the chance to not. She's a really stressed out person and never considers the idea of relaxing. The idea of her sitting still and not moving for longer than five seconds is almost enough to make her completely snap- it's not that she likes to actually move, but she fidgets a lot.
Susan takes a while to reply to certain things. She's a horrible person to try and have a conversation with. She'll think about her reply for a few minutes before actually saying anything, even if it's a simple question along the lines of what her favorite colour is. Susan is always considering what to say and how to say it, to ensure that it doesn't ever come out rude.
When Susan's around people she doesn't really know too well she tends to get really quiet and sort of just blends into the background. She absolutely hates trying to meet new people, but she's still tries her best friendly even though she's more than likely really nervous- most the time when she tries to seem nice, she feels like an absolute idiot. Susan doesn't know how to really have fun, she can't tell when somebody is joking, and she doesn't often smile. She doesn't remember the last time she laughed.
She really doesn't like being in new places with strangers and nothing is familiar. She tends to get awkward really fast and can't carry out conversations too well. If she meets a person she doesn't feel comfortable around, she'll happily avoid them for the rest of her life- she doesn't handle the feel of insecurity. Along with her nervousness for new things she easily will begin forgetting the littlest things, simply because she gets too worked up and scared.
Susan doesn't really like being around loud people that are out there. They make Susan uneasy because they aren't too predictable, making her worry that they may just jump up and attack her. Though, she knows the chances of somebody attacking her are low, she can't help but constantly worry about it.
When she's around people that are naturally calm and real easygoing, Susan feels a bit more at ease and will even talk. Not too much compared to normal people, but she'll try her best to talk a bit more than normal. She doesn't really like if the person she's with is too quiet, but if they just have a calm vibe about them, then she likes them. Well, maybe she doesn't like them right away, but she'll more than likely give them a chance.
Susan hasn't ever had a friend in Dallas that she had ever actually opened up to and she doubts she ever will. She's not a person to talk- when she does talk at all- about her life. Her life is very personal and she would rather not tell anyone, anything about herself. She's worried that if she gives away too much information that she'll get stalked, or some crazy thing of the sort. She is too paranoid for her own good.
Though Susan doesn't talk a lot, she sure as hell as a lot to say. She can get pretty frustrated and angered easily, but she doesn't go around saying things that'll get her in trouble. She often finds herself bashing people in her head, but she never says any of it to their face. Susan has a lot of words to say about the whole Greaser and Soc thing, though, she never comments on it, afraid to stir up some arguments.
Although Susan doesn't talk very much, she's rather witty. If she said half of the things she though, then she'd be in some trouble. She'll often think of a smartass remark, but she keeps it to herself, even though, at times it's awfully tempting. Susan would probably get her head beaten in if she said all the things she thought.
Instead of thinking about any logical and positive outcomes, Susan almost immediately thinks of the worse thing to happen. It doesn't matter how unrealistic it is, she'll have already ran it through her head a few times. She doesn't even realize how unlikely the things she think are, for them to happen. Susan has never thought of what good could come from anything, just what could go wrong.
Background:
Susan had lived in Dallas for most of her life, but eventually her mother could no longer afford to take care of her. Resulting in her being sent to live with her uncle Charlie in Tulsa. Back in Dallas, Susan had been living with her mother- her father had left when she was too young to remember him. Her mother was at work majority of the days, leaving Susan alone most of the time.
Unfortunately, back when Susan used to socialize and enjoy being in the company of people, she started hanging around people that weren't so great. Around the age thirteen she quickly discovered two things: alcohol and drugs. The alcohol hadn't been that big of a deal for her, but she really found herself quite fond of drugs. Heroin quickly became her choice of drugs. The more Susan used the drug, the more the world around her seemed nonexistent. She didn't care how pricey it was, she had to get it. She found herself doing things she wouldn't have done before, just in an attempt to get some heroin.
Susan had been hanging around with some other heroin happy guys that she had met up with. They were pushers and soon enough she found a way to get her drugs and make money at the same time. She found herself selling drugs to kids and soon enough, the guilt caught up to her. She was a kid herself at the time, only fourteen, but she felt as though it would be her fault if those kids became hooked like herself. Pretty soon, Susan stopped pushing, but that caused quite a bit of trouble among the people she had been dealing for. She'd been in quite a bit of danger, but one of her close friends managed to talk them outta wanting to get back at her.
When Susan had told them she was done selling drugs, they had reacted horribly. At first, she had expected them to be somewhat calm, but Thomas - one of the dealers - had thought it would be best to lock her in the basement until she agreed to keep pushing. The basement was old, dark, quiet, and made Susan snap. She'd been locked down there for about twenty-four hours before they had let her go; most of them were completely high during the time. Ever since then she hasn't been able to stand closed spaces, basements, tornado cellars, or crowded rooms.
Before the other pushers had calmed down, the main supplier Scott, had ended up beating Susan half to death. She had ended up in the hospital and the police had questioned her- she told them nothing. She had been in the hospital for about five days until she released. Susan had been at home, still recovering, when another dealer, James, had shown up. Of course, Susan had been absolutely terrified, but he had just gone over to talk to her- they used to be friends before she had quit out on them all. Eventually though, James helped to calm the others down- they still stopped selling to Susan, though.
After everything had settled down among the drug dealers, Susan became a lot more quiet and soon enough she found herself ignoring her friends. She had became afraid of people due to the whole drug drama before. Susan did her best to avoid the guys that she had been working for and she could no longer get her heroin as often as she hoped to. She still likes to smoke some weed just for a hit. If she does get her hands on some heroin, though, she'd be all over it in a second.
What are they into/hobbies/interests: She's not really too active; almost failed gym just because she didn't care enough to actually try, and the teacher hated her. She used to dance as a kid, but eventually her mom's budget couldn't afford, so she gave it up. It really bugged her at first, but she eventually got over it. She plays guitar; her Uncle taught her. She isn't awfully good at playing and it took her a long time to catch on, but when she's been locked up in her house for a while, she might just pull it up and play around on it for a while.
Aside from that, Susan doesn't really have any other hobbies, but that's fine with her. She doesn't really get bored, but sometimes she gets restless, so she'll end up just fidgeting. She could fidget for hours upon hours, but most the time someone will snap at her and cause her to stop- it often bugs people after a while, though she doesn't realize it majority of the time.
Interesting or not so interesting facts?: Susan isn't really there all the time- she might seem like she's paying attention, but more than half the time she'll have no idea what you've been talking about. She doesn't mean to ignore people, but her mind will just get carried away and she often will get sidetracked.
Susan has always had this sort of voice in her head that throws around opinions and often is rather witty and rude. She often wonders if the voice is a normal thing to have, but she has never had the guts to ask anyone if they had a voice too- she's too afraid to be accused of being crazy. Susan hasn't ever told anyone about the voice that is constantly there and she more than likely never will. She's afraid to be looked upon as different, but at the same time she's also afraid that she's the only one that hears a voice. (Schizophrenic)
Though, Susan doesn't know it, she is claustrophobic. Closed doors make her feel nauseous and crowded rooms scare her terribly. The thought of being trapped in a room with no exit is enough to make her absolutely sick to her stomach. At times, when she is surrounded with people, Susan feels as though the walls are about to close in on her. Sometimes she sees the walls and doors swirling around the room. She wonders if maybe they like to mock her- she hasn't ever seen anyone about her problems. Though, she doesn't even realize that being claustrophobic is a problem, nor does she know that she is claustrophobic.
Susan has an absolute sweet tooth. It you really wanna get a chance to be friends with her, all you gotta do is give her some candy. She'll think you're nice enough to actually give you a chance. Next to candy, she loves chocolate- she'd kill for it. Not literally though, she'd never purposely touch someone. Still, she loves any sorta sweet thing- can't stand sour things. Especially lemons, or limes.
Why are they in Tulsa?: Susan lived with her mother, Charlotte, in Dallas until she could no longer afford to take care of Susan. She was sent to live with her Uncle Charlie, in Tulsa..
I'm sorry if this is kinda lame. <3 I've had her on my board for a while, so I figured I might as well get 'er up here too.
